Abstract
JBA’s UK Flood probabilistic model is the first to include river, surface water and coastal flood for the United Kingdom. Designed with the implementation of Flood Re in mind, the model enables the comprehensive, high-resolution quantification of flood risk to insured properties.
Model Components
  • Output Event Loss Table (ELT)
  • Output Year Loss Table (YLT)
  • Occurrence Exceedance Probabilities (OEP)
  • Aggregate Exceedance Probabilities (AEP)
  • Annual Average Loss (AAL)
  • Default vulnerability functions (for multiple exposure types)
  • Included hazard model(s)
  • Included hazard scenario(s)
