- JBA’s pricing data provide a quantified measure of flood risk for locations throughout Canada. The data allow insurers to understand how flood risk can change from one location to the next and enables them to implement flood risk-reflective pricing strategies for their policies. The pricing data are expressed as an annual damage ratio that represents the expected annualized cost of flood damage at a single location, as a proportion of the sum insured.
